knitting update

I started knitting a purse last February. It's the first thing I've ever attempted to knit, so I was really excited and spent a lot of time and money on this project. Then, I had to pull out about 7 hours of work because from about the first row things were twisted. So I put everything down for about a month and just picked it up again before I went to visit Rebecca. I worked really hard on the bottom part so that I could add the self-striping color before I left. I had planned on taking it with me for the journey and any down time, but at the last minute decided not to risk it being confiscated or anything. And so, 8 rows after returning, I have photographic evidence of my progress.
