Today I went to the American Woman's Organization Craft Bazaar. I got some hand-painted ornaments for my hope chest (which really only contains holiday decorations), and won the handmade quilted wall hanging and with a sewing basket at the silent auction.
Several of the auction pieces were just jazzed up photo montages of Moscow, so I've been feeling inspired.

hey, they have an exhibit of Gorky's work going on at the Philadelphia Museum of Art right now...you have inspired me to go see it. :)
