Watching your class graduate without you is sort of like going to your own funeral

I went to the chapel to watch the telecast of my class of 2008 graduate... without me. I am not that sad though. I've been given a word and it says that I am not only a student. I am human who is getting by the best way she knows how- by following a Father no matter how different her calling is to her peers. My path is different, but I rejoice in the past four years, in the friendships, experiences, classes, mentors, excitement, and last night trips to funcie. I do not mourn any loss of friendships; I only reflect on how they were lived. I appeared in several cameras today smiling because I am happy.

Besides, next year I'll be Amy Loraine Wood, BA, BS.
