Overheard at the middle school

"Really, we're all good people- it's just April" -English teacher, after a team meeting where students and the upcoming ISTEP testing were discussed by overworked and underpaid public school teachers

"Stop watching me" -Caption on a student's t-shirt with a picture of a TV

"I read the state standards yesterday... it's good to know your enemy" -Social Studies teacher

"If I had a billion dollars, I'd have girls feeding me grapes all day!" -7th grade boy

As a seventh grade boy myself, i must say I understand what this mysterious boy has said he would like to do with his billion dollars. However, I believe there will still be some money left over.... He could use the leftover money to become a philanthropist to raise his global image like Bill Gates..... Whatever he does, he needs to get his priorities straight...
