An American Flag Hung Upside Down

is the signal for a nation in crisis

Five boys in my class got caught stealing something worth $200 today. They all lied about it and blamed other people. I'm also supposed to be on the lookout for homemade candy with little pieces of paper in the middle. Paper used to drop acid. Once again, I teach Seventh graders. This makes me so sad. It hits a little too close now. I'd like to believe news like this would have always affected me, but I'm really not sure.

They don't believe anyone cares about them and they just might be right.

You're there and you care and you can pray. You know they're worth it and that they were created for better than that.
